Define summer
Haha, no. There is no joy here, only sandnes
June 25, 2023 was definitely summer. This is the first day I came to Norway, and it was warm and sunny all day. But unfortunately it was almost the only day that summer when I saw the sun all day. Sandnes near Stavanger
If you’re expecting weeks on end of 20+ degrees and sun, then no. That almost never happens.
But there can be lovely sunny and warm days. Sometimes more than one in a row.
Just keep expectations low and you can only be pleasantly surprised.
Stavanger has just spring and autumn. And a few of those days are sunny and beautiful
Its part of viking myth I believe
