Entschuldigung für das schlechte Bild, aber ich sehe immer wieder 3 Geschwindigkeitsgrenzen in solchen Brettern. Kann eins bitte erklären, was es ist?

It is not a limit, but the opposite: it’s the minimum marching speed of the lane.

  2. I think those are speed minimums, not limits.

Basically, to be in the fast lane you should be at least that fast (110 km/h) and also lorries are not allowed on it, it seems

  3. Left lane: Suggested Speed 110 km/h [68 mph]

Center lane: Suggested Speed 90 km/h [55 mph]

Max Speed, general rule of thumb: 130 km/h [80 mph]

Round blu „Limit“: Minimum Speed in that lane
Square blue „Limit“: recommended Speed in that lane

The blue sign with 110 is the suggested speed, which is different than the limit that is marked with a red border.
As for each lane having a speed indicated, that’s because the lane on the right is where you’re supposed to be normally, center and left lanes are for overtaking slower vehicles, the center is mainly used to overtake trucks and slow cars that keep the right, left lanes is for a quicker overtake.
The only important thing is to not stay in the 2 left lanes if you are not overtaking (if the lanes are only 2 then keep the right)

it tell you at which minimun speed you have to drive, 110 km/h on the left lane and 90 km/h on the right lane.

I think it’s an highway, so the maximun speed limit is 130 km/h

White number in blue circle is the minimum speed for that specific lane.
You cannot drive slower than that.

The maximum speed, unless there is another indication, is based on the type of road and the type of vehicle. As the signs are green here it must be „Autostrada“, so it is 130km/h for cars.

It is lower for trucks (80km/h), that’s why it is forbidden for them to drive in the lanes where the minimum speed is 110 or 90.

You can’t stay in that lane if you can’t go at the minimum speed shown

  9. Quick tip on European signs:

    Round blue = obligation
Round white + red edge = prohibition
Triangular white + red edge = danger
    Rectangular = information

So in this case since this is a **blue** sign with a number on it, it means that you **must** be travelling at least at that speed.
The speed limit is white with a red edge, because it’s *prohibiting* you from going over that speed.

Similarly, the sign above the speed limit is saying that trucks *can’t* use that lane (because the sign is white with a red edge). If the sign were blue, it would mean that only trucks are allowed.

  10. the minimum that nobody respects!!!

they go 90 in the left, 100 in the middle and 50 in the right. and if the right is free, they go 150 in the right lane.

Knowing classical 3-lane limits, you must be in these speed intervals:
    – right lane: 60-130 km/h
    – central lane: 90-130 km/h
    – left lane: 110-130 km/h
