These states are going to keep sending these people to Congress. Will Democrats ever work to defund these losers so Blue states can keep money in their states? Or will we keep paying for these states to have bad policy?

My local radio station was talking about the Big Beautiful Bill and instead of reporting on all the awful shit in it they just read off a prepared message from my MAGA congressman about how it’s lowering taxes for all Americans and eliminating fraud and overspending.
Republicans have such complete control of radio and TV broadcasting in the US there’s no way voters will ever vote them out. Their propaganda is too widespread and effective.
I don’t know about that one. It’s either they vote for something that actually benefits them or they own the libs…. This is probably going to be a very, very easy choice for them and guess which one they’ll choose? Few will pay a price at the polls, because people who vote republican will nearly always vote republican. The maga voting masses have been dropped into a cold pot, not boiling water, they won’t know how bad off they are until it’s too late.
They should, but many of them won’t. If red state voters have long been okay with electing people who consistently vote against their interests and make their lives worse, they’ll be okay with this, the voters will blame democrats or be satisfied with whichever powerless group has it worse than they do.
