Die Ergebnisse zeigten, dass beide Gruppen dazu neigten, ideologisch gegensätzliche Personen negativer zu bewerten. Diese Tendenz war bei Liberalen dreimal stärker als bei Konservativen.

Sounds right, I have no patience for bigots.
If you have conservative politics I’ll write you off as unintelligent or lacking in empathy pretty quickly.
Judging by this ~~thread~~study I’m not the only one.
As an Australian who has a great distaste for America due to its politics, yeah 1 party breaks its own constitution to make laws governing women’s bodies, prevents healthcare access, and literally thinks more guns = less mass shootings.
From an outsider perspective it makes complete sense, 1 is a party full of horrible religious bigots and the other party is a mixture of all the other people the first party tries to force to conform to their ideological beliefs.
