      As a quadriplegic of 3 years who relies on Medicaid, after surviving 3 near-death experiences in 3 years, one being the injury that left me paralyzed, I just want to know HOW they plan to thin the herd. Not vague talking points, the actual process. What criteria is applied exactly? What investigations? HOW are the so-called eliminations applied?

      Democrats call it nuclear but never explain who exactly will be impacted and HOW. Republicans tell us to relax, saying it only targets illegals and fraudsters, but again, no details. They don’t say HOW they will thin the herd. Meanwhile, people like me, whose lives literally depend on this system, are left in limbo no matter which side we listen to.

      The HOW matters. DETAILS matter. LIVES depend on them.

      I don’t understand the point they keep making about how tax cuts are so amazing. It amounts to maybe a couple hundred dollars if that for most people. But what does it matter when the currency is expected to tank nearly 20 percent this year and there is a deterioration of infrastructure and healthcare around us

      NO, Americans voted to do Immoral and Irreparable Harm to the United States in November last year.

      Republicans are doing what voters elected them to do.

      70% of American eligible voters either voted for Trump or didn’t vote at all (and tacitly supported Trump).

      It goes to show that right-wing populism was always a grift. That being said, with the delays baked into the bill, the working classes might not immediately revolt, if at all.

      Don’t forget to remind your congressperson/Senator who they work for.

      Just search for them in your state and send them this:

      Dear [Senator/Congressperson LAST NAME],

      As we mark another Independence Day, I write to remind you of the principles that gave birth to this nation—the very principles you swore to uphold.

      The Declaration of Independence states:

      “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.—That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed,—That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness.”

      These words are not hollow history—they are a warning. The government’s legitimacy comes from the consent of the governed, not unchecked power, not corporate donors, not party politics. And when the government no longer serves the people, it is our right—our duty—to demand change, to hold you accountable, and to insist on a government that truly works for all of us.

      Let me be clear: all means all—LGBTQ+ Americans, people of every race, faith, age, and background. The promise of equality and liberty is not selective. The One Big Beautiful Bill (OBBB) you recently passed does not reflect these values. Instead of advancing freedom, justice, and opportunity, it falls short of meeting the needs of the people you serve.

      On this Independence Day, I urge you to reflect on who you represent—the people, not power brokers. I urge you to remember that the American people have the right to call for change, without fear of police brutality or suppression. And I urge you to act in a way that honors the spirit of 1776: with courage, integrity, and a commitment to safeguarding Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness for all.

      We are watching. And we will not stop holding you accountable.
