Intergalactic ICE agents coming to let us know that life was propagated on earth illegally and therefore we must immediately go back to the solar systems from which the building blocks of life on earth originally came from or face vaporization.
What is puzzling about it exactly? We have always speculated that interstellar objects exist but would be hard to detect. As we’ve got better at tracking the sky in real time and high resolution we are seeing them with greater than zero frequency and in due course we will probably find them to be relatively commonplace and as we detect smaller and smaller examples we may even find candidates that could be intercepted if we have ultra high speed probes set up for favourable sling shots.. that may be a 50 or 100 year away (or more) pipe dream.
