Unfortunate but true. The US is not a reliable partner for basically anything these days. Their government is run like a reality TV show.
Between cutting funding to monitoring programs and RFK jr. being an utter unqualified quack, I would say this report is pretty bang on with their conclusion.
The time of data sharing between our countries is dead, at least for the foreseeable future. This is unfortunately true for many branches of science, from health to climate and everything in between. The Dump administration has no concept of science as a beneficial soft power. truth has no place in their world. This has been made evident time and time again.
Yep, from now on American public health specialists are on their own, or relying on other countries and what’s left of the UN.
