Public transit you get student discount 50%.

If you will study in Oslo you can save a lot on vegetable by buying at the middle eastern fruit markets. The Halal butcher’s also has cheap lamb and cheap chicken/beef. *(Lamb mince 110/KG, beef mince 130/KG, don’t know current price for chicken but it’s much cheaper than the grocery stores.)*

However, housing for 7000 will be difficult to come by unless you get a subsidized student housing.

There is cheap chicken in rema, cheaper than fish. If you buy vegetables in asian stores is cheaper! Make sure to include some amount for other stuff like going out, even if you don’t do it often, so that it’s reasonable

I’m very impressed if you can stick to this! Do you only eat fish, vegetables and fruit? No bread, oatmeal etc?

    4. Where does that public transport number come from? Are you gonna eat 500g of fish per day?

    5. I am a bit confused about the job. Is the salary listed per 2 hours? If so, then what is it based on, 150kr an hour is quite low for someone above 18. When i was working at a cafe in 2020 below 18 i was earning 175. Also if you are planning on earning above 100 000 a year you have to account for taxes in your budget.

For the fish you could take up the hobby as a fishermen. Shorefishing is free in norway and on a good day you could catch your weeks consumption of fish. Maybe even more depending on what you are catching😅
