      Foo Fighters used to be a Dave Grohl solo project. Then he had to put a tour band together, and gradually he assembled the crew including Hawkins on drums and Pat Smear on guitar. Then Hawkins died (tragic!!), there was a respectful pause and memorial period, and then they hired Josh Freese to replace him.

      What happened to Freese?

      Lol everyone dogging him and yet I’m sure many musicians you love have done the same thing or worse. People make mistakes, no one is perfect. You’ve got to leave room for people to grow and give them a chance to right their wrongs and change

      Honestly, the Foos have had so many drummers and keep going back to Dave drumming. Maybe they should try hiring a guitarist and letting Dave stay at the drums?

      Did no one read the article/headline? The Foo Fighters aren’t calling it quits, he’s just not gonna fill in as the drummer anymore.
