    1. They’re too dumb to care.

As long as they get to keep their conspiracy theories, hatred, and dehumanized targets to blame everything on, republicans will stay perfectly happy, goose-stepping republicans.

    2. TopPerformer9819 on

They’ll be happy as long as they pass their misery to others and have someone to look down at and blame

    3. -Mage-Knight- on

They are happy to suffer as long as they can trust that someone else is suffering a bit more.

    4. Priority 1: ensuring the people they hate are upset

Priority 2: what this means for their own lives

    5. The fascists in government got what they needed from MAGA voters. They don’t care about them and believe they will hold power indefinitely. I think they’re right.

    6. Here is the point I consider. The GOP is so bad at leadership that this path is their only way forward.

They could likely do whatever they wanted as long as they gave people medical care and didn’t destroy all those federal agencies.

But that’s not what they are doing.

I’d like to think that history will condem the theft of the product of our tax dollars but the terrible ideas have worse lies trying to get people to let the Rape happen

      Trump is literally raping America

    7. This is just class warfare disguised as political games. Sure conservatives are spearheading this spiral but the democrats are definitely not doing enough to be the opposition party, almost like they’re in on it.

    8. Charming-Report1669 on

I promise you not a single MAGA voter gives one single fuck about this.

    9. This was the actual reply from my maga family when asked how they felt about the bill. It’s all deflect. “How are your stocks doing? Looking forward to the reduced interest rates? As real estate agents, we’re looking forward to a boom in our industry with reduced interest rates. Eggs (no longer a topic) restocked at a decent price, groceries fully stocked? Gas prices solid? How about all the Floridians that were suffering with condo assessments… seems under control again. Should we point out any of the good things the current administration has done? I know they’re brutally straight forward, atleast we have an admin that is awake. Lastly, if we want to talk deportations, I remember as if it were yesterday the deportations under Obama. Officers needed no cause to pull people over. There are many videos, cages, where people were detained, separated, and deported. Trump is cleaning the disasterous border that was left wide open for years. We know very well many that crossed that border wish the United States death. Trump has been in office for how many months? Let’s look for dust once he’s done cleaning the house.”

    10. Accidentally? They are DYING to tell everyone just how much they have screwed over people who aren’t in their circle. They thrive on the suffering of others. This is their Republican nirvana. And a third of Americans are overjoyed that this is happening.

    11. Short-Shelter on

And? Trump could stare his voters dead in the eye as he brutally assaults their kids and they’d still vote for him, every time

    12. When you vote for a party not for the help it gives you but for the harm it does to others you pretty much deserve what you get.

    13. Expert-Explorer8894 on

Republicans are banking on their voters getting excited and giddy about the cruelty put upon undocumented migrants, that they won’t feel the healthcare rug being slipped out from under them. It’s not as if Republicans in Congress were good liars about their real intentions, they just know the MAGA supporters that will feel the pain from this disgusting bill won’t care to notice until it’s too late. #MERICA

    14. They won’t care, even if it costs them the life of a loved one. Even the death of a child won’t change their mind. I don’t even think clear cut evidence of Trump sexually assaulting a child would do it. In their mind Liberals are the villain and they’re on the winning side.

    15. adamiconography on

MAGA primarily is 60+. They lose their Medicaid and stuff, they’ll die off.

They won’t be around to see the full effect of their consequences like we will

    16. FOX is going to tell them this is Biden’s fault and they’ll believe it and vote for his 3rd term.

They do not care. Their own parents and grandparents will get kicked off health insurance, die, leave them in poverty, and they’ll blame trans people or something.

    17. „The Senate just passed President Trump’s big budget bill, which will cut $1 trillion from Medicaid to fund huge tax cuts for the rich. In a remarkable series of angry tweets, Vice President JD Vance downplayed the Medicaid cuts while saying what really matters is the bill’s massive funding for ICE and migrant detention. It was a striking and very revealing moment: Vance basically told MAGA voters not to think too much about losing their Medicaid benefits; instead, focus on how many migrants the bill will end up jailing and deporting!“

    18. Democrats, why don’t you have a vote-for-vote tally of how many people in each district will lose their coverage with this bill?

Every vote should have a corresponding value for how many will die.

Make the Republicans own their votes with blood.

    19. Principal_Insultant on

They’re not just screwing their base. Everybody not super rich gets a reaming.

But since that includes the libs, the MAGA base will gladly starve, suffer, and die.

And unless they’ll die, they’ll vote for them again, screaming *harder daddy*. If there will actually be another election featuring more than one party.

Everybody else, when screaming for different reasons, will get “relocated” by Dear Leader’s masked GeStaPo.

      Good times eh?!

    20. Unfortunately the Maga base will buy this. As long as they can look down and be outraged about immigrants , trans-kids, LGBTQIA+, the 10 Commandments in schools,, they will still vote Republican.

    21. They will still vote for any Republican. It’s not like they would switch to a Democrat.

    22. Happy-Ad5530 on

It’s wild how much they’ll tolerate being screwed over as long as they think someone they hate is getting it worse.

    23. ChefChopNSlice on

The ones that can read are busy “translating” and propagandizing those that can’t. The end result will probably still be: “*Thanks Obama*” or something, something, “Biden economy”.

    24. Charliewhiskers on

They don’t care. Any of them I’ve spoken to about Medicaid cuts etc. say “liberal fear mongering. It’s not going to happen”. We’ll see.

    25. >That scam—getting voters to hate on immigrants so they don’t notice that Republicans are massively redistributing wealth upward—is integral to getting the Medicaid cuts passed.

Does this journalist think that the people are going to vote on this bill???

    26. Flimsy-Attention-722 on

President Lyndon B. Johnson once said, „If you can convince the lowest white man he’s better than the best colored man, he won’t notice you’re picking his pocket. Hell, give him somebody to look down on, and he’ll empty his pockets for you.“

    27. ilikebiiiigdicks on

Literally every comment here is already saying it but it’s because they’re stupid and don’t care. And probably can’t read either.
