      There’s, stating the obvious here, an issue the US electorate has with voting in a perfectly suitable woman candidate.

      Yeah, this is why I hate polls though and probably one reason why so many people were caught off guard by both of Trumps wins.

      You find a poll that says something like this, despite several other polls showing the [opposite](https://www.cbsnews.com/video/54-percent-approve-trump-deportation-program-poll/) and people get the impression that most Americans are actually against the deportations..which is likely quite untrue.

      It’s one of the main reasons we’ve felt so blindsided by political outcomes lately.

      If you want to do mass deportations, do them within the context of the law; have a warrant, identify yourself as law enforcement, show your badges, follow due process, follow outlined procedure.

      This shady bullshit just hardens EVERYONE against law enforcement in general. The way that ICE is operating now is damaging the community reputation for ALL law enforcement.

      I’m not sure if this is by design or a side effect, but Law Enforcement is now in an adversarial relationship with most citizens. They aren’t seen as helpful or friendly or protectors.

      ICE to receive more money than the US Marines or the FBI.

      We are going to see the removal of our neighbors, friends, and family members at a mass scale…but I guess this is what the country voted for.

      The way I see it, ICE takes the same oath to the constitution as all branches of the military; their oath also includes not following orders that are immoral or unethical.

      I hope the next administration holds them accountable. ICE agents are personally and individually accountable for their actions and I hope to see them prosecuted for their actions. There is no point in us fighting the administration or being violent, but suits against individuals is appropriate.

      Nuremberg is alive and well.

      I’ve been going to the same car wash for 20 years. Its a 30 minute drive but I do it once a month because one wash from them is better than a monthly subscription to a drive thru wash. Today I went and they had 4 employees working instead of 12. This place has helped me keep my cars looking great and easy to re-sell. The workers make 30+ bucks an hour after tips because regulars tip 10-20 bucks on a 25 dollar car wash. That’s real money that these people have to miss out on thanks to these raids. That 30 bucks an hour was feeding god knows how many people. Why mess with a net positive to society?
