Don’t stop there. Keep going. Cut it all. The entire weird institution. Once they are gone we could move onto the goblins, fairies and whatever fairytale nonsense we still have knocking around.

>The Royal Family will still travel on regular train services – and the annual report showed 141 helicopter trips were taken last year, costing £475,000.
Cut those next. Charles and William are always going on about the climate emergency, time to put their (our) money where their mouths are.

What a sad decision. Really disappointing. The stuff about fiscal responsibility is nauseating

Excellent decision, Charles. Now do private jets. You know, for the environment and all. Ooh and while you’re at it get William to do ‘not being a slum landlord to half of Cornwall’. Or ‘not taking money from the NHS for ambulance services’.

This is going to be nightmare lmao
Basically taking a regular service train out of service because there’s no way they can let people on it as much as possible. Also seems like massive security risk.
Can’t wait for whole train lines to collapse under managing it they can’t even manage the regular service as it is.
This feels like one of those saved a quid now spend two later kind of ideas. Fantastic on paper in a meeting until they put it in practice.
