    1. Original post got deleted because BBC article was too old…I was struggling to find a news website that was actually reporting on it. Finally found one…published 20 minutes ago.

Will really be interesting to see if the book is thrown at them…

I think we may all forget how ‚convenient‘ footage of the event was released that looked favourably on the attackers and only when airport staff leaked the actual footage did the perpetrators get shown for what they really were.

They even got that charletan lawyer to represent them initially lol.

Hope the PCs made a full recovery.

I’ve said this repeatedly, unless we are all held equally accountable for our actions in this country there will only be mistrust and division.

Hold everyone equally accountable, if you don’t, as a nation you will need to spend enormous amounts to try and maintain social cohesion.

As a society we all need to accept that there are simple levels of acceptable behaviour.

If we do not do this we are in serious trouble as a society.

lmao these boys fucked around and found out. The picture of the dude on the right is hiilarious, these bellends are anything but the innocent victims of police brutality they try to portray themselves as

    4. On what grounds do they believe they aren’t guilty? We all saw the footage, looks pretty damaging for them.

Why has this taken so long? they should have been found guilty and deported already!

I wonder why this takes so long, but other violent crimes that attract equal national coverage don’t

Can’t post my thoughts on the matter because I’d no doubt receive a longer sentence than they’ll get

Could’ve been totally avoided if the first interaction wasn’t a policeman approaching from behind and slamming one of their heads into a ticket machine.

      I have watched the video.

Watch other videos of police, they deploy tasers on violent suspects and then punch, kick, slam and restrain them until they are 100% sure the threat is neutralised.

I’m not sure if you have ever been punched in the head before, or have been in a situation where somebody is attacking you and you may die if you do not defend yourself, but it isn’t easy to just turn off your aggression when the adrenaline is flowing. It’s easy to call out what they should have done after the incident.

Those firearms officers would have been trained to kick a violent suspect if you have the taser or a gun in your hands in situations like that.

You may not like it, but that’s the way they have operated for a long time and will continue to be trained to do. You may disagree, but the officers faced no charges after careful review.
