Wir haben diesen Brief letzte Woche bekommen und ich möchte wissen, ob ihr diese Interviews/Umfrage bereits durchgemacht hat.
Es heißt, wir sind verpflichtet, daran teilzunehmen, da wir wurden ausgewählt und dass wir unsere Kontaktinformationen mit dem Interviewer teilen sollten.
Nun, 1. ist das hier wirklich eine Art Gesetz, dh ist es obligatorisch? 2. Wenn es kein Betrug ist, welche Fragen müssen wir beantworten? Es dauert eine Stunde, also wth

It was mandatory in 2022, if somebody didn’t respond, there would be fines.
Mikrozensus is a real thing, so I’d advise you to give the number above a call.
As for the questions, it could be anything related to your everyday live.

2) how many people in your living unit, gender, age, marital status, citizenship, employment status, income, childcare, education

And according to their webpage you are required to answer „Aus diesem Grund besteht für die meisten Fragen des Mikrozensus eine gesetzlich festgelegte Auskunftspflicht.“
§13 MZG also exists and seems to say similar things:

Following that law, you need to answer stuff “
1.Angaben zu den Erhebungsmerkmalen nach § 6 Absatz 1 Nummer 2 Buchstabe a und
2.Angaben zu den Hilfsmerkmalen nach § 11 Absatz 1 Nummer 1, 3, 4 und 5.“
The other questions mentioned in the same law seem to be voluntary.
In 1, it says :“Haushalts- und Familienzusammenhang:
a)Zahl der Haushalte in der Wohnung und Zahl der Personen im Haushalt,“
Regarding 3, the relevant law says the following:
(1) Hilfsmerkmale sind:1.Vor- und Familiennamen der Haushaltsmitglieder,2.Kontaktdaten der Haushaltsmitglieder,3.Wohnanschrift,4.Lage der Wohnung im Gebäude,5.Vor- und Familienname des Wohnungsinhabers oder der Wohnungsinhaberin,[6.Name](http://6.Name) und Anschrift der Arbeitsstätten der Haushaltsmitglieder,7.Baualtersgruppe des Gebäudes.
So you need to tell them how many people and how many families live in your apartment, what their names are, where you live, where the apartment is in the house, and who is the person owning or renting the apartment.
Anything else is voluntary unless i am mistaken.

Participation is mandatory under §15 Bundesstatistikgesetz and §13 Mikrozensusgesetz
Failure to participate can theoretically result in Bußgeld up to €5K ;-), although such fines are rarely enforced

Für mich schreit dieses schreiben nach Scan aber wenn die Mehrheit sagt ist legit 🤷♂️
I mean wenn die das an alle in einem Mehrfamilienhaus schicken und einige Wohnungen unbelegt sind woher wollen die wissen wer nicht drauf reagiert oder wo eine Wohnung mehr steht. Woher wollen die wissen ob es überhaupt zugestellt wurde wenn es nicht persönlich adressiert ist? Alles irgendwie undurchdacht in meinen Augen. Oder ich verstehe es nicht wegen einem überhitzten Kopf vom Wetter…
