I can’t see how the Trump DOJ allows this lawsuit to happen.
They’d send in the Marines to stop a fair trial. And the Marines would violate the the US Constitution to help Trump.
Good, if there was election fraud then it should be investigated
If it’s proven in court beyond a reasonable doubt that Trump tampered with the election results then the military should peacefully and non-violently remove him and his entire administration from power.

We can’t like, takesies-backsies 6 months of broken alliances, DOGE cuts, and fascism, can we? Do they put Kamala in the white house and say „sorry ‚bout that“? What happens to her term as president if that does happen? I’m sure the admin wouldn’t take this lying down, how does the military respond? That’s not to say we shouldn’t investigate this, we should, but what’s the outcome? There really is a horse loose in a hospital and there’s no experts.
Hypothetically, let’s say that there is unequivocal evidence that there was election tampering.
What would happen then? A special election? We just say whoopsie, kamala is president now?
What would happen if/when trump contested/refused to leave?

Still not sure how much fire there is to that smoke. Harris not receiving a single vote in areas where other down ballot Dems received hundreds though is weird and suspect.
I live in Rockland county and what people from the outside do not understand is that there is a large Hasidic population that votes completely as a block (often referred to as “The Block”).
Organizers of this group hand out example copies of ballots to tell each of them how exactly to vote and they listen. Voting for a Republican and Democrat on the same ballot may not make sense anywhere else in the country but here they follow whoever prioritizes Israel’s interests (either bc they take the most money from Israel or they hand out the most benefits to Jewish communities in NY, generally both).
I wouldn’t be surprised to see countless ballots with Trump votes, a handful of democrats sprinkled in, and zero votes for Kamala in certain districts around here.
The only thing that gives this lawsuit credit is that a handful of people said they voted for some obscure candidate in a local role but those handful of confirmed votes didn’t add up to the final tally reported (I think we are talking about 10 votes total here).
I’m certain votes were miscounted elsewhere in the country since no counting system is infallible and I’m also certain some ballots were tossed out for right and wrong reasons so people saying they voted doesn’t mean their vote was counted.
I don’t think this lawsuit is a slam dunk like others are putting their hopes on. I really feel like it’ll turn out a few votes were miscounted or ballots were tossed out which won’t be the silver bullet we are all hoping for. Largely though I think the irregular voting patterns will be chalked up to The Block doing what The Block does.
Here is the best case scenario if somehow it is actually proven true that Trump cheated the election. Trump and Vance get impeached and removed from by congress and Mike Johnson is President until 2028.

I want this investigation to continue. I want them to prove that there has been massive fraud in the 2024 election, and that Harris actually got more votes than what the hacked machines reported.

Republicans have failed to show a shred of evidence that their leader has felt remorse or in any way committed to changing his pattern of lawbreaking behavior, particularly in regard to election laws. I’m not believing in any conspiracy that the Trump Republicans became law abiding citizens after their attack on the US Capitol.

Be very careful reading what SMART puts out because I’ve already seen them fuck up the terminology.
What they’re focusing on are two voting precincts within the town of Ramapo, New York. In these two precincts, Gillibrand got about 300 and 900 votes, respectively, where Harris got zero and about five.
On BlueSky, SMART identified these as voting districts of Rockland County as a whole, which isn’t how elections in counties in New York work. Ramapo is a huge part of Rockland County, mind you. But it’s not the only municipality.
It’s interesting and worth recounting, though it won’t change the outcome. Keep in mind, Harris still won New York State and got all of our electoral votes. My issue here is that SMART botched the terminology on social media so badly that I had to dig to find out what the fuck they were talking about. I’m guessing they used the right terminology in court, otherwise this would have been DOA. At least, I hope they did.
It’s also entirely possible that those numbers could be legit. Rockland County isn’t exactly a liberal bastion. The blue counties are New York, Erie, Monroe, Albany, and Ulster, and maybe a bit Onondaga. The rest of the NYC metropolitan area, which includes Rockland and Westchester counties, is definitely more red.
We’ll see how this goes. Maybe it blows open something bigger. Maybe not.
Hitler isn’t going to relinquish his power just because someone proves he cheated. He already knows that. The rest of the government, regardless of party, has already folded.

Then we can finally get some politicians who represent real people in there
Even if they did cheat there’s nothing that will be done about it now after certification. If they did cheat they will continue to cheat in the future and nothing will be changed.
I’m sure the election was fucked with, in some capacity, no doubt.
But until I see this narrative come from any news sources other than Newsweek, I’ll continue rolling my damn eyes.
