Politics in music is fine but Glastonbury is meant to be music and summer festivals, not about politics
Music has been an avenue for political activism for basically as long as music has been around. It’s a form of expression entirely as valid as a two thousand word editorial in the Wall Street Journal from an enlightened centrist who only ever seems to push very conservative talking points.
Woody Guthrie and Pete Seeger were say things seventy years ago that would have them hauled over the coals by the twitterati today.
