>__What measures does the federal government recommend?__ First and foremost, you should protect yourself from the sun’s rays, as Marco Stoll from MeteoSwiss says. So don’t go out in the sun unnecessarily during the day. You should dress (including covering your head), seek shade and generally cool your body. This can also be a cool shower in the morning or a dip in a river or lake. You should drink as much as possible – unsweetened, non-alcoholic drinks.
>You should also keep your home cool. Intense sporting activities should be avoided if possible or postponed to the cooler off-peak hours. And: you should also pay attention to your fellow human beings.

Even last week the heat has been crazy.
As someone in a mostly white collar job(mediamatician at Kanton Bern) where i mostly make videos and sometimes videos about street/building projects i really have tremendous respect for all the blue collar people out there working.
Last week i was filming Tunnel repairs druing the night and had to wear safety clothes. They were insanely hot, and even in the morning hours it’s already hot.
But the workers act like it’s no big deal, while i am here melting in my office(no AC).
Heart goes out to all of them!
