Glad to see The Star report on this. The Trillium article was great, but this issue needs more attention.
Unfortunately, I don’t see how GO can recover from this. The contract has been cancelled and nobody smart would agree to work with Metrolinx on a similar project anytime soon. It also just continues Metrolinx’s appalling lack of transparency. We don’t really know what to expect from GO in the future, and it sounds like they don’t really know either.
