Ein seltener Clip eines Interviews mit einem irakischen Kommandanten der islamischen Armee im Irak, in dem er die von Bagdad Sniper (Juba) verwendete Taktik zwischen 06-07 gedreht hat

The Juba tactics were strikingly similar to those of the much older South Armagh Brigade of the Provisional IRA. One of the IRA tactics was to strip out the inside of a common car after which they would sound proof it. A sniper would lay flat with his rifle along the length of the car and there would be a port hole of some sort removed from the rear of the car’s boot / trunk through which the sniper would fire his round.

A driver would then casually drive the vehicle off into the distance. The British army would in no way shape or form be permitted to engage the car unless it could be proven that the occupants were gunmen.

If you ever track down the old Juba videos you will see very similar thing, the driver would just blend into the busy traffic of Bagdad and the US forces would be oblivious as to where the rounds came from.

It was rumoured though that the US actually caught and killed Juba when his car was intercepted by some troops with a Bradley who shot the car to pieces right along with everyone who was inside it. Though as stories like this tend to go, Juba probably wasnt one sniper in the same way as the famous Armagh Sniper was actually a team of like 6 guys or more.
