“Pay the Artist” 😂. Isn’t that what a market is about? If you aren’t an artist, nobody will pay.
Does anyone have a good description of what the new law is, and what the objections are of the unions? All I can see is something to do with pension reform, but that doesn’t seem to gel with the banners here…
“No kings no CEO’s” (sic!) twice? Kind of makes me want to create a tax for people who cannot tell a plural from a singular possessive…
What do they propose ? I don’t want to pay more cotisations to keep the current level of pension benefits, in particular in a context where the standards of living of retired people is higher than the one of the workforce. The pension problem with the age pyramid is known for years if not decades and we have the first government who wants to do something about it. Working later is one solution, personally I would have preferred a massive reduction of the pension benefits (alongside the related cotisation). Pensions in Luxembourg are amongst the highest if not the highest, people are leaving the workforce very early in comparison with other countries, while most jobs are chill office jobs, while the economic growth is the poorest in Europe. I’m fairly standing against the gerontocracy that unions are supporting here.
