They basically are saying the gov can violate your rights and the court will decide after the damage if that was correct or wrong and decide the remedy. It’s does not scale and is ripe for un-repairable abuse. The type of system that led to… Nazi Germany.

Injunctions were fairly quickly resolved and the government had many remedies to address them. This is all manufactured perception by abusers. Clearly the reason it’s becoming more of a thing is because the federal government (and this isn’t just under one administration but current one went all in) is pushing or outright ignoring the limits of executive power continuously. Conservatives are abandoning all their past-claimed principles.

to those of you still living in 90’s polite norms and standards. voting is not going to fix our problems. we’re now at the social revolution stage. which could begin tomorrow, or 50 years from now when the US is a broken and greatly diminished wasteland.

Any illusion that the judiciary will save the American democracy needs to be firmly and decisely set aside. The right-wing takeover of the Supreme Court was a decades long plan and is not entrenched. The rulings of this court tell us they will not be the ones who stop authoritarianism from becoming the way in which we are governed. So Congress is out, the judiciary is out, you should have deep questions about „free and fair“ elections ever happening again, and that leaves it up to people, methodically protesting, building pressure, and welcoming peaceful protests to be greeted by lies, misinformation and even violence. But it remains the only way to stop fascism and the time is now.

MAGA thinks MAGA is safe because they’re MAGA. History, and the modern day Trump-voting Latino block, proves otherwise.

Dear leader who is so idiotic and buffoonish and stupid that he couldn’t possibly pass the citizenship test that a 12-year-old could pass is the one who decides who gets to be a citizen.
