California Rep. Robert Garcia was elected as the new head of the House’s powerful Oversight Committee this week and has promised to use his position to hold the Trump administration accountable for its “corruption.”
Garcia described his plans to put together a “forward-looking team” to challenge the worst excesses of the “far MAGA right” during an interview with Pod Save America’s Jon Favreau on Thursday, and named Miller’s immigration crackdowns as one of the committee’s top priorities.

There were years of investigating Trump and his cronies that resulted in evidence that should’ve landed them in prison. But the SCOTUS, and now President Trump, are the most corrupt officials in American history. They will shield all R’s from any justice and accountability. They brazenly ignore court orders and nothing happens.

Can someone sanity check my logic here?
ICE does not have the legal authority to arrest US citizens outside of very specific instances that are being exceeded. The correct term then is „kidnap“ instead of „arrest“. A kidnapped citizen cannot be deported, only exiled. Any US citizens sent to overseas prison camps (e.g. El Salvador) against their will are kidnapping victims being trafficked. Many of these prisons, including some of the other prisons they’re talking about setting up, use the prisoners for hard labor. When you traffic a kidnapping victim abroad to be used for hard labor, it’s called slave trafficking.
Therefore Stephen Miller is directly and unapologetically driving policies that are enslaving US citizens and trafficking them for use by horrible dictators. He is enslaving and trafficking US citizens.
Am I missing something or is this as bad as it sounds?

About time. Democrats need to go after all these ghouls. I don’t understand why Miller has received relatively little attention. Trump hates when someone other than himself becomes the center of attention, whether it’s for good or for bad, and he has no problem throwing people from his inner circle under the bus or pitting them against each other. If people can convince him Miller is making him look bad, he’ll turn on him. He’d probably replace him with someone equally vile, but I’d still count it as a win.
