Hallo zusammen! Ich suche Hilfe bei der Identifizierung eines Vintage Seppälä -Stücks.
Zuerst war ich mir zunächst nicht sicher, ob es wirklich Seppälä ist – das Hauptlabel verwirrte mich. Es heißt: "Südpazifiklinie von Impazzivo" Produziert von Seppälä.
Also wurde die Strickjacke in Portugal hergestellt, aber wenn ich mich nicht irre, klingen sowohl „Prodotto da“ als auch der Name „Impazzivo“ italienischer als Portugiesisch.
Ich habe einige Online -Erwähnungen gefunden, dass Seppäle in den 1980er Jahren tatsächlich eine Bekleidungslinie namens Impazzivo hatte. Aber ich bin immer noch neugierig auf die Produktionsgeographie. Hat jemand Informationen darüber, ob Seppälä irgendwann in Portugal in Portugal produziert wurde?
Wenn jemand irgendwelche Einblicke hat und das Gefühl hat, seine kostbare Zeit für dieses Thema zu verbringen, würde ich es wirklich zu schätzen wissen! 😁💕

I have no idea, but it would not surprise me, as Portugal is a pretty big producer of clothing in Europe.
It’s 100% acrylic so it can’t be that old. I think before late 90s clothes weren’t that crappy, they were mostly wool/cotton/linen.
But on the other hand, I can’t remember that inhouse brand. My guess, this is from the 80s. And seems like a more mature „madame line“ rather than a teen brand. Italy was very cool in the late 80s, hence the italian sounding brand 🙂
Portugal was a common production country before everything went ultra cheap in Southeast Asia in late 90s.

It’s just branding and building certain image. Marketing product with Italian vibes to gain points among wannabe fashionistas, yet selling a cheap product out of crap in Portugal. Typical story. Could be from 90s at earliest.
