It’s just electricity. Nothing changes for you except the name on the bill. You see if people recently complained about these providers on check24. Just pick the cheapest one that doesn’t have terrible ratings and do that every 12 months to get a new contract with a good bonus for a cheap price
Oh and 35ct is still very expensive. My provider has below 28ct and I just switched this week
I check electricity providers once per year and switch if there’s a cheaper option. It’s actually recommended to switch on a regular basis, older contracts are hardly ever cheaper.
I just check for the provider to have somewhat good reviews on check24. Never had any issues with any company and honestly, they operate more or less the same. Just make sure to do a in-between reading of your metre to make sure they calculated your monthly payment correctly.
I was with Vattenfall last year and it went smoothly. Can’t say I communicated that much with them. Just the regular „welcome“, „here’s your yearly invoice“, „bye“.
Above 40ct is a „go away, we don’t want you as a customer“ price. Price increase gives you a Sonderkündigungsrecht, this is the time to change to somewhere cheaper. Usually worth doing once a year or two, whenever a contract runs out or prices are raised.
