What we have now is not Artificial Intelligence. It’s predictive guessing using mathematics, whether it’s ChatGPT or Midjourney, it’s all just very advanced mathematics that tries to provide the best guess next outcome based on an input provided by the user. That’s it…
He’s essentially asking for regulations on a technology that doesn’t exist yet in the form he’s scared of. Can we create Artificial Intelligence… Probably not, but we can create something that comes close to imitating it maybe.
Either way governments are in absolutely no way able to even grasp the most basic concepts of what already exists let alone predict what could exist in the future and create proper legislation around it. Our governments can’t even figure out the best course of action for immigration or housing…
