Should’ve done this ages ago but still, amazing we got around to it.
I can’t find anything about other nations doing this, but I’m hesitant to say we’re the first.
Either way, though, a very long time coming and a great step in the right direction. Whatever else may be going on, I’m glad this country has its head screwed on right when it comes to Ukraine.

Russian assets don’t nearly cover even a fraction of all the good-money-after-bad that the UK has pissed-away on Ukraine.
Plus they’ve seized and nationalised a bunch of western stuff. Including some Donbass lithium mines, that the Ukrainians sold to the UK. So it’s a wash.
