      >The three-term Assemblymember’s potential victory in the November general election could bring what the Street hates most — tax hikes and tighter regulation threatening corporate and investment interests.

      >“It’s not quite done yet. There’s still an election. Maybe Cuomo will re-enter as an independent.”

They are so desperate for a return to corruption and ruling by the elite.

This is who Cuomo’s constituency really is, and who would be catered to under rule by establishment Democrats.

Heaven forbid they might have to pay their fair share of taxes, follow regulations, or even just think about someone other than people who make millions before lunch.

It says something that Donnie flip flopping on tariffs and war can send the markets up, but when someone who represents the people wins a primary it spooks Wall Street

Oh no a single candidate who might represent more than just the few already doing the best in the area. How dare the people even consider it. I guess its exactly the amount of boo hooing you’d expect from the crowd that always gets its way.

rich people getting their taxes raised is what qualifies as alarming and depressing on Wall St and mainstream media- not US citizens being kidnapped, not losing our Constitutional rights, not having public lands stripped and sold off- rich people having to pay a little bit more in taxes is

Do they realize that this is only making it more plainly obvious what big greedy fucks they are?

    8. Not the felon known for bankrupting and stealing from everyone he comes in contact with though.. Their depressed people might be able to get affordable housing, transportation and child care.

I genuinely don’t understand why the obscenely wealthy need to stay obscenely wealthy. Like even if they got taxed marginally higher like 5% more they would still have enough wealth that they couldn’t spend it all in 3 lifetimes let alone one. So what’s the point?

oh give me a break. Did they talk to like 2 republican traders to get that quote?

His victory will have no negative impact on their lives or livelihoods. Worst case, they’ll have to pay a couple more % taxes on their crazy earnings – which they won’t even notice, and will have zero impact on how they live their lives.
