I’m sure it’s a fun weekend for everyone who doesn’t live month to month.

I did that once. I was a dishwasher though and I didn’t tell the BBC so it never held me back. Or maybe I was doing it wrong, it’s hard to tell sometimes.

Not news is it? I quit my job to go to Download in 2013. Manager panicked and agreed to give me the time off instead, after initially denying it. 🤷♂️

Plot spoiler. Next week he finds he hasn’t got a job and spent all his money on overpriced food at Glasto. He registers as severely depressed and stressed, and claims PIP. Watch this space….

This is just sensationalism or the guy is stupid. If you weren’t that bothered about the job, just call-in sick.

This isn’t quite at the level where a Welsh rugby fan sold the tiles from his roof to buy a ticket to watch Wales get battered at Twickenham.

In this job market? All I can say is best of luck to him going forward

So he’s a videographer. Those jobs are tough to get in this market. Guarantee he’ll be unemployed still come Glastonbury 2026.

I found some pretty inventive ways to get out of work for Glastonbury about 20 years ago.

Glastonbury will still be there in 2026 and beyond though. I get that it is fun and that you already had tickets, but a job is more important in the long run. I have had two leave requests denied this year and had to cancel my part in a family holiday and a reunion with friends because of that; there is no way I could have quit my job because of that though. They better have something lined up or they may be about to suffer a lot of remorse.
