Steve Carell is annoying asf. Terrible actor.
Worst decision they ever made was bringing Ed Helms front and centre. He’s solid as back up – if a little grating imo – but lead? No.
Steve Carell was never a great actor but he’s gotten better. After Steve left they didn’t know what to do with the show. They couldn’t have Jenna Fischer or John Krasinksi stare into the camera for an hour each week. They had to try something Around that time they bet on Ed Helms because the Hangover series was happening at the time. What they didn’t know was that Ed Helms also sucks as an actor. Too late they discovered an upstart kid named James Spader but they only had him for a run of episodes before he was about to have to have his own show, The Blacklist, on NBC and star in Avengers movies and shit.
Overall, there was just a core group that made the show what it was. Whether it was Steve or one of the other main characters. Made the best of it.
