„Cobra Kai“ -Star Martin Kove, der beschuldigt wurde, Co-Star Alicia Hannah-Kim auf der Fankonvent

>The alleged incident occurred Sunday at Summer Con in Puyallup, Wash., where Kove and Hannah-Kim — both of whom appear in the Netflix series — were participating in programming and fan activities.

>According to the report, Hannah-Kim told an officer working the VIP section that, after tapping Kove on the shoulder to say hello, he suddenly grabbed her arm and bit her “so hard he nearly drew blood.” The report states that when she cried out in pain, Kove allegedly started kissing her arm where he had bitten her. The report detailed that Hannah-Kim then told her husband, who was present at the event, and the pair went to confront Kove about the incident.

>The report states that upon confronting Kove, he “exploded on them, saying something to the effect of how dare they confront him.” Hannah-Kim and her husband asked the reporting officer to step in and defuse the situation. According to the report, Kove claimed he was trying to be “funny,” adding that they “play fight all the time on the set of ‘Cobra Kai.’” Hannah-Kim reportedly told the officer that she would not file charges, but “wished to have a report filed in case this continues.”

>Kove was instructed to leave the venue; an officer advised to the actor to not repeat such behavior in the future.

I would get tested if i were her. He looks like someone you would catch a disease from.

Strike first strike hard

This adds credibility to Bill Hader’s story about Martin Kove.

I met him at a bar one night during a convention weekend he was attending. I am not surprised at all. Guy was polite, but he still gave off some creep vibes.

He looks like a Shar Pei, so I’m not surprised he’s a biter.  He just needs good training and a good home 

I thought this was a joke. I had no idea “puyallup” was a real city.

I’ve met him at a couple of different cons — MegaCon back in 2023, and Salute to Cobra Kai just a few weeks ago. In fact, I was a „VIP“ at the latter and sat literally right next to him for 10 minutes at a meet & greet (fortunately, he didn’t try to bite my arm, but he easily could have had he felt compelled to). Alicia came in right after he left and sat in the same chair he’d just occupied next to mine.

I enjoyed meeting them both, and didn’t notice any weird behavior. However, the next day I overheard some other people talking about how right in the middle of an autograph session that took place in the vendors‘ room, he suddenly stopped signing autographs and then walked over to the vendors‘ booths and started shopping? From what I understand, there was no „thank you“ or „goodbye“ or anything; he just left the rest of the people who paid for his autograph hanging.

Between that and this new incident with Alicia, I wondered if he might be suffering from a cognitive issue (possibly age-related?). But now that I’ve learned of Bill Hader’s experience with him, which happened quite awhile ago…I have no idea.

I was also at Summer Con, by the way, the day before this happened. I didn’t talk to Martin there, but I did see him several times and go to the CK panel. He didn’t seem „off“ at all; I suppose he wouldn’t have, though. I’m sure Alicia wasn’t expecting to get bitten when she tapped him on the arm!
