I’m pretty sure the number of interceptor missiles launched in the last 5 years is greater than the total in all previous years.
I counted 21 at least.
Patriot does not fuck around. They know the probability of kill for an interceptor is 0.8. So they launch 4 per, just to be 100% sure of an intercept. Expensive yet effective.
Man. How much did that cost? Fuck universal healthcare right?

A single launcher can have a mix loadout, to maximize the efectiveness against all possible targets on the batlefield. The U.S Army integrates the Patriot into battalions, each of which consists of 4 to 6 line batteries, these are normaly composed of 6 launchers each battery alongside, not mentioning other components
