Since then, the project has dropped numerous directors, lost cast members and faced several delays.

It’s not happening, marvel will probably make one about blades daughter that he had in the first movie… it will all be explained in the novelization,

Sadly I think Wolverine and Deadpool was the nail in a new blades coffin.
He’s 50. He’s getting a bit older for a character that’s not supposed to age. I hope he sues Marvel for wasting his time and gets 10-20 million.
