“A military official told The Times that Trump was considered the „biggest threat to opsec,“ or operational security, due to his unpredictable social media activity, a concern shared by both the Pentagon and U.S. Central Command. Military planners feared the president was giving Iran too much advance warning of the forthcoming strikes.”

A very stable genius folks. Fucking nuts.

Very worrying the actual president isn’t being looped in on major decisions. Now, imagine if it came out Biden wasn’t the one making decisions of this magnitude…

    3. Sounds like the military needs to take the initiative remove the biggest threat to our country.

    4. So I’ve seen an article that his decision to bomb was based off vibes, rather than intel. Vance and Rubio said no regime change. Trump said maybe regime change. Then I read that Iran was given a heads up so they could vacate the facilities so no one would get hurt. Now I’m reading that information wasn’t shared with the guy that decided to bomb. I can’t tell if they are trying to get their stories straight to minimize negative press, or if there’s just this much chaos in the Admin.

You mean Donald J Trump, who only has security clearance because POTUS inherently has that clearance, and had to force clearance through for his family before, is a threat to operational security? Who knew?

So he’s a puppet and not running the show, is what I’m hearing? Didn’t MAGAs claim Biden was senile and in a state of cognitive decline and wasn’t making his own decisions?

Thank you, universe. First news headline in just about forever that made me LOL.

    8. It’s sad that the POTUS has to be treated like a child to prevent disaster.

How are these military officials acting responsibly with US assets?
The Trump administration is waging war economically with sanctions, with immigrants using ICE, and now the military launching attacks against Iran. Who is going to pay for all this, and most importantly who is going to be making money from these actions?

😂 I would not be surprised. But what official is going to put their name on that quote?

Just like with the National Guard in California, I could easily have seen him congratulating the US Air Force on a successful mission…12 hours before they even attack Iran.

    12. Int the end we have 4 autocratic regimes waaaay too happy to show how they can „manly“ throw punches -or missiles- without the moral and diplomatic boundary of a high death toll.

Meanwhile civilian Ukrainians and Palestinians keep dying by hundreds.

So he didnt make the decision to do this? Who is the captain of this ship? It’s clearly not Trump.

It was pretty clear they weren’t allowing bigmouth to chat with press after his „2 weeks“ reprieve … it was really killing him too – he looked like he was being held hostage walking from AF-2 waving, smiling, gesticulating, like the clown he is

Military officials seem to be right about the assumption that this administration’s a national security threat especially online.
That whole signal scandal sort of bold highlighted this simple fact.
