Submission statement: Iran has threatened to activate terrorist sleeper cells in the American homeland to retaliate for yesterday’s attacks. Along with a campaign of cyber attacks at American critical infrastructure and an assassination campaign of americans abroad. The federal government is taking this seriously with increased security at federal biuldings and the vice president saying they are watching for the possibility of a strike on the us homeland.

Imo: A strike on the American homeland is a mistake no one makes twice. It has been done 3 times in American history. Mexico did it in the 1840s and lost half their country, Japan did in 1941 and lost their empire, bin Laden did it in 2001 and lead to america rampaging across the middle east. An attack on the us homeland would lead to a massive escalation in numbers and kind. America launched 2 invasions over a single terror attack, what would a string of bombings in American cities with hundreds or thousands of civilian deaths cause?
