Historically, the US has interfered with Iran routinely. The interventions motivated Iran to want to increase their military strength. They have been on a journey to get more powerful nuclear weapons. And because they greatly dislike Israel, the West and the US especially, they’ve targeted the West in whatever way they could.
So the world’s nations are stuck between a very powerful interventionist government and another who is doing all they can to retaliate and threatening the West.
I’m just not confident at all that the POTUS and his people have the experience, the political savvy, the discipline to minimize the impact of all this.
And, on top of it, this is highly unpopular in his own country and he ran on a platform to keep the US out of this conflicts. He broke the rules of his own constitution. So… what will happen on the Homefront?

To say the least
Iran is broken and desperate , Isreali Relations were at a all time high in the region before Oct 7th ,
They’ve lost Hanas , hezbollah , houthi, and Syria.
Iran’s has been trying to uno reverse the Arab spring since it happened, and they were failing . This is a direct threat to the power of their regime.
To be honest, my biggest regret in this is the fact that Isreal and America were the ones to act and not alliances of Western countries.
