    1. Trump authorizes bombing of civilian nuclear sites—what does this mean for international law and future deterrence?

What many think to know – as warned before, the world might not a safer place with the Nobel Peace Prize aspirer Trump in power. What are your thoughts?

    2. It means that the development of wmd’s in Iran has stopped, which is a good thing.

Is it fair to call these “civilian”? If they are, why is one (Fordow) built deep underneath a mountain?

This implies that the US bombed something akin to Chernobyl or Three Mile Island…not really accurate.

that’s part of a big plan that probably ends up as a complete success for US

by involving into Iran he basically throws away Europe dealing with Putin and Europe has enough to do it without US, so Trump will continue to play good cop on Putin while Europe gonna do the untermensch policy to russians, that’s profitable to us both economically and considering Putin is fool enough to always listen to Trump he may realize about the trap when it’s already over

as for Israel, it would be stupid to not make another war in the Middle-east, considering that was the key reason to create the Israel country in the 1950s in the first place. We need it as a hornet’s nest in that region it’s an easy money to war suppliers and a key supporter to every president that is not stupid enough to not use it when he has a chance

Yes. „Civilian“ nuclear sites inside hardened, well defended facilities.

Lots of debate on the rightness and wrongness of the U.S. and Israeli bombing of Iran, but this seems to have the potential for a short war. No need to send in ground troops or bomb civilian areas, as Israel in doing in Gaza.

Israel has already mostly decapitated the Iranian military leadership and killed several important nuclear scientists. It has bombed most of Iran’s nuclear sites. In the last 24 hours the U.S. followed up against Iran’s three primary sites: Fordo, Natanz, and Isfahan, apparently using bunker busters. Damage is reported severe at all sites.

Israel and the U.S. have almost complete air superiority. Iran’s missile launches grow fewer by the day. The U.S. and Israel can minimize world condemnation by downsizing the war soon and by avoiding the killing of civilians that is so widespread in Gaza.
