Solartransits wie diese sind für mich schwierig, da ich in Arizona lebe. Die Sonne ist nur hoch genug für a "Gut “im Sommer- wenn die Temperaturen immer extrem hoch sind. Laut dem Thermometer in meinem Auto war es außerhalb von 121 ° F, als ich diesen Schuss bekam. Um die Auswirkungen der Hitze zu mildern, brachte ich Eisbeutel und thermoelektrische Kühler mit, um die Teleskope und Computer von Überhitzung zu halten.
Ich habe dies mit mehreren Teleskopen erfasst, die das Licht der Sonne sicher herausfiltern und gleichzeitig die Chromosphäre, die Details in der Atmosphäre, durchkommen lassen. Solar transits like this are tricky for me since I live in Arizona. The sun is only high enough for a „good
one during the summer- when temps are always extremely high. According to the thermometer in my car it was 121°F outside when I got this shot. To mitigate the effects of the heat, I brought ice packs and thermoelectric coolers to help keep the telescopes and computers from overheating.
I captured this using multiple telescopes designed to safely filter out the sun’s light while allowing the chromosphere, the details in the atmosphere, to come through. This shot is also a tight crop of the whole photo. How does one take a photo of the sun like that? I know there are telescopes to help you see the sun, but that’s some incredible detail.
So, I might sound goofy or naive, but it is just amazing to me that we built something that is that big in relation to the Earth! I mean, it is so big we had to put the pieces together in space. Pretty cool!
