    1. Trump wants to build a ballroom just like he has at Mar-a-Lago. What the actual fuck.

i know it has been said a thousand times but i hope his supporters get fucked so bad

this action of paving over the rose garden is too much right on the nose

Classless trash administration is going to leave the Whitehouse looking like a 70s casino.

HEs trying to convert it into mar-a-lago. He thinks he is going to become a dictator and wants the white house to be turned into his private residence.

Sigh, add it to the pile of atrocities, file it under “are we upset yet?”

I’m not particularly patriotic, or a US history conservationist by any means but this enrages me. It’s purely to be spiteful to those that came before him.

I’m hoping that those plants are being rehomed but I’m guessing he’s having them throw them straight in the trash. A damn shame.

      >“Trump previously said he would pave over the Rose Garden because the grass is always wet, and it’s an inconvenience for women in high heels.“

What a dumbass excuse to do this

I hope whoever is President next restores it.

It wouldn’t only be right to do so and return our history, but a symbol of slowly dismantling everything MAGA has ever stood for or been. We will erase MAGA from our nations culture, it will be nothing more than a story in the history books, a shame, like how Germany views the 1930s.

Let me guess, contracted to the highest bidder and Trump gets a cut. Probably an 10 year contract so when Trump is out they’ll be contractually obligated to do the work if they want to put it back how it was.

    10. Seems like the actions of someone who doesn’t want to leave the white hous3

    11. Destroy something beautiful to make something soulless. What a perfect metaphor for this administration

      >Since his return to the White House, Trump has [transformed the Oval Office](https://www.newsweek.com/donald-trump-oval-office-gold-2045930), making some of the most significant changes to the room’s appearance in modern presidential history. There have been gold medallions, gold vermeil figurines, gold eagles and gilded Rococo mirrors added.

      >It has also been reported that Trump wishes to build a ballroom in the White House, similar to the one he has at his Florida estate, Mar-a-Lago.

      Grotesque.

It’s him just giving the United States the finger in another destructive way.

    14. Over a century of being a rose garden but he just has to destroy it. There is no bottom to his pettiness.

Don’t it always seem to go
That you don’t know what you got ‚til it’s gone?
They paved paradise and put up a parking lot

This seems pretty symbolic of what he wants to do with our national parks too
