      Now this will be interesting, if the BBC win, no uk ai can scrape media, if they lose I won’t need a TV licence since I’m only ’scraping‘ content for my small ai startup.

      Ai companies only succeed because they ignore laws.

      Without free content, their whole business model is almost valueless.

      And even the benefits from regurgitation systems is over hyped.

      I fail to see how what perplexity is doing is any different legally from googles summaries that have existed for years now? They’re not the ones training the big models.
