The only thing in the entire world keeping everyone safe from a nuclear strike is Mutually Assured Destruction. Once one country launches just one ☝️ nuke on someone else, that country is gonna fire a shit ton more back. Why hasn’t Putin nuked Ukraine yet? Because he’s smart enough to know that the second he does, every other nuclear power is gonna bombard Russia with their own due to MAD. Never be the first guy to launch a nuke at someone.
