      We need the Oversight Committee to investigate these „dickheads“ (please quote me on that) as soon we take back power in the House – and then we need to fire all of these „dickheads“ and make sure they don’t get any benefits, pensions, or even any kind of positive referrals to future employers.

      The only way we can do anything about these people is an investigations in Congress.

      (Just to be clear, I am running for Congress. US House, District 9, IL)

      If masked men with guns pop out around me I’m pretty sure I can stand my ground in FL. It’ll be an interesting trial that’s for sure. White male combat vet vs ICE, I’m sure I’d be labeled antifa by faux news. Maybe they’d take a poke at my catholic connection? Catholics are the first Christians to be disappeared after all the non-christens go.

      All Americans should keep them rattled at every turn. Remember, if you see an ICE vehicle, follow them while playing bagpipes really loud until they go home.

      Until it stops being viewed as a Los Angeles problem greater America won’t care. The evening news is doing a horrible job of speaking to the greater threat to our democracy. Our country is viewing whats happening in SoCal (and tiny pockets in other states) like a sympathetic/troll car accident gawker. I live on the W.Coast but 99% of the people I know in the Mid-West are living life as usual.

      Los Angeles is the test run for military occupation of a Dem State/City. The gleeful cooperation of local police should be a major WTF but instead its „Oh, LAPD has always been like that“ Yes, except they didn’t have marines and national guard as their backline.

      The Next No Kings Protest should happen outside the White House. Cram 5MM people there.

      I am beginning to think if ICE are going to be given the power that these guys seem to wield they should be treated similar to the US Marshals. They would have to be confirmed by the Senate and have a four year term.

      If they come knocking’, What can legal” Americans do? IIRC, sometimes ICE (and sometimes local enforcement) are not operating within legal boundaries

      If you had told any republican in any red state ten years ago that masked federal agents without warrants and who refused to identify themselves would be storming workplaces and public places with assault rifles, they would have 100% completely lost their shit. Today, they just lick the boot harder.

      It does. It rattles all of us. Especially as chief “dickhead” demands arrest for anyone wearing a mask at a protest while his black and brown vests wear them. I, as an American citizen DEMAND a CONGRESSIONAL INVESTIGATION into ALL of ICE just as every other department has. There should be NO EXCEPTIONS. Investigate, investigate, investigate!

      Why would ICE agents need camouflage tactical gear (With no ICE identity), wear face masks and brandish assault rifles (Some with suppressors) to unarmed victims?

      I’m convinced they’re deputized proud boys, J6 rioters or militia.

      What ought to concern Americans much more is the intentional sadism in enforcement: where a form letter or judicial serving, maybe combined with a monitoring bracelet would be completely sufficient for the stated purpose, we have armed thugs assaulting people and imprisoning them under inhumane conditions, with no regard to depends or property rights.

      I can’t fathom why the people accepting or worse cheering this on can’t make the mental leap to how an organization behaving this way will turn on them once all the “foreigners” are gone.

      Every argument that defends this is just stupid. If every other federal employee’s information is public information then ICE’s can be too. If every other law enforcement officer can do their job without their face being covered, ICE can do it too.

      It still floors me sometimes that all these authoritarian/fascist assholes are such fucking pansy ass pussies. They whine and cry if they are mildly criticized. They need their safe spaces and have a meltdown if anyone suggests otherwise. They need special little boy birthday parties with tanks and soldiers and come unglued like a three year old if no one wants to come. They are so special for detaining immigrants (and sometimes a US citizen just for funsies) that they have to have their faces covered, when immigration enforcement is not even a criminal matter.

      It’s pathetic. I still cannot wrap my head around how ridiculous, stupid, juvenile and entitled these people act. It’s just so *dumb*. I guess being a somewhat entitled American myself I had no real grasp of what these people are really like. I find Vladimir Putin terrifying and I guess I just assumed they were all like that? Not sure, but this is not what I pictured at all.
