I had an Iranian Uber driver in Vancouver tell me about being nerve gassed on his 19th birthday and watching an entire crowd of soldiers die around him during this war. After that attack he went on to be an accountant for the Iranian Oil Company, and now is quite an old dad who works 3 jobs in Vancouver to put his daughter safely through University. Such a nice guy. 10/10 Uber driver.
