Situation in the Yablunivka (Kostyantynovka) area, near Toretsk.
In the area of the village of Yablunivka, near Kostyantynivka, some of the fiercest fighting of this period is ongoing. The Russian 20th Rifle Division is operating against our units, trying to break through to the strategically important defensive line of the city from the south. This sector is defended by units of the 36th Marine Brigade, operating with the 4th Battalion of the 101st Guards Brigade, 54th Mechanized Brigade, Azov, and the 119th Battalion. Artillery, ATGM and FPV drones were used to eliminate the enemy.
The main defensive line runs along an anti-tank ditch and two lines of „dragon’s teeth“.
In desperation, the command of the 20th Division took a rare step on June 17, 2025 – an attempt at a mechanized breakthrough north of Yablunivka. During the three-hour battle the enemy lost: a column of 23 armored personnel carriers, 13 motorcycles and 78 soldiers – all destroyed.

That must have been the very best equipment the Russians had available. Fresh paint, kind of professional drone cage but old models. And they failed..
That’s some of the most accurate artillery I’ve seen from Ukraine. Would be interesting to know how far from the Ukrainian lines they start engaging these assault groups. Like did they even get close?
What a massacre. They didnt even make it to the front line.
Pro russians be like: ”That BMP took more that one drone hit before being knocked out. That means Ukraine is bad and russia stronk”
