IMO, I think its inevitable Trump will order the strike. The US military is building up in the middle east and now they are evacuating all Americans from there….If theres ever a time to reach across the aisle and team up with the anti-war MAGA, now is the time. Team up with them and impeach then remove Trump ASAP….

I’ve seen a number of people, often libertarian types it seems, who said they didn’t especially like Trump but voted for him because he was against „forever wars“.
I assumed these people were lying because that is utterly preposterous but some of those people now do seem genuinely surprised and are turning on him.
What I cannot figure out is what possessed them to believe the most dishonest, corrupt, and cruel politician in American history when it came to this one specific topic. There is nothing in Trump’s history, rhetoric, or policy package, which would make an objective rational observer think he was against conflict. Very much the contrary.
This man stood up at the UN and threatened genocide, he speaks of bloodbaths, veiled threats of assassinations, tells police to violate human rights, wanted to shoot protestors, said he could randomly kill a person and get away with it, wanted to execute innocent black teens, uses dehumanizing rhetoric straight out of Nazi propaganda, and even alluded to military action against Canada. This man revels in violence and cruelty because he’s a weak little person desperate to appear strong.
So what are you projecting, and what are you turning a blind eye to, in order to think this guy was ever going to *reduce* the number of conflicts the US is involved in?
All he’s done is help Russia, undermine Ukraine, threaten military action against allies, and destabilize the entire globe. All of which was predicted by every single half-way intelligent and informed person on Earth.
I want to know the psychological underpinnings here.

Trump had a bucket list of everything he wanted to do in his 1st term, but was denied. All the pardons, the prosecutions, the immigrant round up, the punishing of media companies, and universities, etc. are all on it.
Using a nuke is definitely a big one on that list, and since Khamenei won’t write Trump a beautiful love letter like Kim Jong Un, it looks like Iran gets to be the recipient.
