    1. According to David. S. Goyer, all the film needs is an R rating, a simple story, and „insane ass-kicking.“

The guy who personally killed the Blade franchise so much so that its star didnt even want to be on set as he was relegated to a supporting role in his own movie: It should not be complicated.

    3. I don’t get it either, he can walk around the MCU, vampires are secret even in Marvel in a lot of way, long living creatures can wait.

First Blade movie didnt have any other Marvel characters around.
It gets complicated with Dr Strange, Moon Knight, Wanda & Vision and etc….

    5. They don’t want a stand alone – they immediately want to interact with the rest of the MCU. Take advantage of the multiverse, take place in a verse with little to no superheroes. Lean more on magic and lessen the sci-fi.

„There’s only been one blade. There’s only ever gonna be one Blade“ – Blade

    7. Maybe they’re trying to make a good movie??? Hahaha probably not. It’ll be trash. Thank god we got the original & Blade II

    8. Blade and ghost rider should lead into a midnight suns movie but the MCU is more invested in introducing the xmen and then a soft reboot of the marvel universe.

It was the most obvious legacy sequel they had on the table: Snipes’ Blade becomes Whistler for a younger vampire hunter.

      It could have been great.

Dracula is trying to create an eternal night. Blade has to stop him (he’ll say cool one liners). Boom there’s the movie. Hire me. (Bonus points if wheeler comes back and has another fake out death)
