      Things to take home from this… 8% of 850 miles complete… $3 Billion cost to taxpayers… and the federally funded slice of the wall is only 1/3rd this size.

      They’ve decided it’s more fun and politically profitable to harass people with ICE. Plus, they can target non-immigrants they don’t like as well.

      That said, I hear ICE may be running out of money soon too.

      Abbott spent $3 billion on a useless wall in order to score political points on TV. Texas is pathetic to elect that man.

      Only 8% built but billions spent. This was just a grift for Construction company donors and kickback deals. When it’s looked at in terms of dollars/mile Texas should have a dang freeway along the border: Not a fence that can be easily defeated by guys with ropes, ladders or cutoff saws.

      I worked on a border wall branded documentary about the border wall we drove from big bend to TJ and we couldn’t find 1 person that was in favor of the wall. People wanted more border patrol and drones and other things but not the wall. “Every 15 foot wall has a 16 foot ladder next to it and every 30ft wall has a 31 foot ladder next to it”
