Is this new? Two days ago, Iran stated that they’ve figured out how to make Israeli missile defenses target themselves. It sounded made up but this would be the 3rd such video I’ve seen and I’m starting to wonder if there’s some credibility in their claim.

If I has to guess they sped up production at the cost of QC for this war specifically.
Also less time for maintenance during wartime increasing failure rate.
Alternatively it could be some „self-destruct“ functionality if there is no target to lock onto.
Dumb, novice question: I presume they can’t disarm the warhead once it’s launched?
