      Senator Lee, a good public relations firm would charge a significant sum for this. I will give it you free of charge, you don’t even have to quote me. Just open your socials and copy/post this. Here you go:

      *I wanted to take the opportunity to apologize for my tragic rhetoric in the wake of the political assassinations in Minnesota. I know that my even the sincerest apology will fall well short of the decency the moment required. I cannot fully erase my words from the public record, but I would like to add to them in the following way…*

      *My words were unnecessary, hurtful, crass, and immoral. After reading them again, I shudder to think I wrote them and wonder; how did I arrive at such a dispicable place in my thinking. Upon further reflection, I realize that inspite of deleting these words on my social media accounts, I own them and I have to live with them, but I would like to use my platform as a Senator to begin to advance a type of rhetoric that is helpful and uplifting. My recent comments indicate I have a monumental distance to cover before I can reach that level of discourse, perhaps I should just settle for words that aren’t universally offensive.*

      Oh NOW he deleted it, now that EVERYONE has seen it, and it has caused the maximum amount of outrage and pain?

      EXPEL HIM FROM THE SENATE. It is obscene that senators from Minnesota have to work with this creature. Shame on Republicans for doing nothing about it! Tuberville is defending him and he and anyone else who stands up for this disgrace should be censured! This has no place in our Senate and it’s only going to get worse if we don’t demand better.

      And shame on Utah Republicans for sending this man back to the Senate because his behavior has been appalling for years.

      The hardest thing for Mike Lee to ever do would be to delete a tweet. Because he tweets so often it would take him so long to find it. 

      Did you know in the first 3 months of 2025 he posted 9,310 times? (In all of 2024 he posted about 13,000 times). If you averaged those out, without accounting for sleep or eating or anything like that, that’s one tweet every 15 minutes. 

      But it’s worse than that. In just March, he had made 4,475 posts. That’s once every 10 minutes (again, not accounting for sleeping or any breaks. So in reality it’s more often than that during hours he is awake).

      He literally ignores his job as a senator just to post on X.
