It’s amazing to see a Labour government pushing a policy that will increase child poverty.

Hardly surprising, cuts like this are so counterintuitive to economic growth.
Terminal short termism continues to kill this country.

I predict Labour’s two years prior the likely date of the next General Election will be absolutely chaotic. New leader, new DWP boss etc etc etc.
People may say Labour don’t do that sort of stuff but I think the people behind the scenes will try it all.

Better u-turn on this… Punching down is a poor choice.

Its weird all the backlash, negative press and labour rebels telling them this is a bad idea how they are plowing ahead with it anyway.
All because of Rachael Reeves self imposed fiscal policy. They are no better than the Tories.

Different puppet same puppet master. How people believe that politicians are all different it beyond me.

The government doesn’t care and I say that as a disabled person. They will say they have jobs available but I am struggling to see where they are.

We need to talk about the 40-55k jobs going at BT/EE, as they won’t just walk into new jobs.
This is just one massive company that’s doing and yet the government keeps lying about the amount of jobs available. Yeh they are lying and BT can get rid of this many jobs, you’ll see a non existent job market.
People will no longer get replaced and AI will do that. I don’t like AI, it’s wrong a lot of the time, it costs people jobs also.

Wait where’s all the centrists who were blasting things can only get better surely they must have something to say about this? granted it will probably be “hes only had 11 months” “well look at the mess the tories got us in” “cant get over Corbyn losing huh” which is all nonsensical and useless but it’s fun to read regardless.
