      Supposedly, 12 million Americans showed up for the No Kings protest. How many agents does ICE have? They’re outnumbered and even the dumbest of people would realize that. Now spread these outnumbered agents out to a dozen large cities. These dudes are getting sent to the hornet nest and I hope even they start to realize that they’re being used and discarded.

      Just as the wealthy have figured out how to insulate themselves from economic recessions caused by their anti-human policies, the Republicans think they’ve figured out how to localize the terror caused by their conspiratorial and hateful worldview.

      What they don’t expect is that they’re helping train residents of blue cities on how to combat state violence. Trump wants unrest as he thinks it serves his will to power, but Democrats will emerge from this fight with hardened hearts and a drive for revenge. Time to stop being pussies.

      So…. all of them? I drove through a deep red country town this weekend and there was a sizable protest. In a town of maybe 12,000 people. I was pleasantly surprised.

      From a quick search there were over 2000 cities that had these protests. There’s not enough ICE agents to even begin to tackle that number. He’s using it as an excuse to try and justify his already egregious targeting of cities he considers to be „Democrat strongholds.“ Fascism 101, identify the „other,“ paint them as simultaneously too weak to lead, but too strong to be defeated by anyone but the fascists, and then remove them by any means necessary including force. It should be painfully obvious but his followers are ALL about it because they’ve been convinced that Democrats (or really anyone who’s not MAGA at this point) are animals/criminals who deserve not even a shred of humanity shown to them. They’ve gone from „violent criminals“ to „we’re going to eradicate Democrats.“ Now, maybe Trump and Co aren’t saying that yet, but I have heard MAGA cultists say things like that.

      It’s actually pretty dumb because it’s much more challenging to hit their quotas in these cities. Local law enforcement won’t cooperate, citizens resist more and help report ICE activity. Plus there’s thousands of legal immigrants and citizens of Latin descent mixed in.

      Republicans states and cities would be far easier. Roll into any farm and they could load their vans up.
